What is a Paramedical Exam?
A paramedical examination usually includes the recording of height, weight, three blood pressure readings and a resting pulse, noting irregularity if found. The exam may also include the collection of blood, urine, and a 12-lead resting EKG, depending on the insurers underwriting guidelines for age and insurance amount. The exam may also include a personal interview to collect information about the applicants medical history and/or completion of a cognitive function assessment. All of this information allows the insurance company to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the applicants current health.

Where is the exam performed?
NMS/ExamOne mobile paramedical professionals perform examinations at the applicants home or workplace. This is determined by the applicant.

How long will the examination take?
The examination time can last from 15 to 45 minutes depending on the number of necessary services. A typical exam takes around 20 minutes.
